Real estate bullying

Once again, with the active journalist in Al-Qabas, Mohammed Awada, who surprised me this time by asking about the Al-Othman Commercial Complex, located at the intersection of Al-Othman Street and Ibn Khaldun Street, regarding a news saying that "the complex will be demolished soon." In order to avoid publishing such brief and inaccurate news, I provided him with the reason behind the demolition of this property and its replacement with a new tower. I also provided him with photos of this tower. It is quite normal for this news to be ordinary and unremarkable in the midst of the crowded economic news on the economic page, but what happened is that this news has taken up a large part of the reading on the website of Al-Qabas newspaper, as well as on Instagram, where the responses and comments of followers are read, which overflowed with bullying and ridicule. Unfortunately, bullying is taking an unwelcome course in our society, and I hope that it will not be overwhelmed and that over time it will become an abhorrent culture that we exchange among ourselves as a means of expressing opinion and understanding. This is a dreadful thing. It is not a feature of our religion or of the customs and traditions of Kuwaitis, nor is it a good morality either. Returning to our tower, which did not impress bullies, not even many friends. I met with close friends this evening for dinner, and their first word after "Peace be upon you" was, "Your tower is not good." Of course, I laughed and told them: If a tiny, blurred image attracted you and made you mock and disintegrate on it, it means that I have achieved the goal, because if this tower had not been distinctive, strange in shape, and unrepeated, it would not have attracted your attention. This may explain the unusual architectural success not only in the Hawally area but all over Kuwait. I told them: if you saw this tower in Dubai, you would like it, and you would not bully it, because the architectural character there has the audacity to make the design of this tower familiar. I am very pleased with this design, which depicts the reality of bullies. I will answer the queries of those who are best communicated and start with the parking lots. Some of them felt that the area was crowded, and of course it is, but two important things are not clear to them. The first thing is that this tower is located opposite the Al Othman Commercial Center, which is attached to it. There are enough parking spaces for the center and for all the tenants of the new tower and their employees. Each office will be granted five parking lots. The second thing is the multi-level parking project, which will be held in the front yard of the tower, opposite the Bait Al-Othman Museum. As far as I understand from the municipality, it is within the budget and will be implemented soon. As for the shape of the building, the response lies in details, as the picture in the news is small and does not reflect the reality of the building. Personally, I am proud that this tower was designed by a Kuwaiti architect, who has all the support and thanks from us. Most importantly, this project is one of a series of endowment projects for the late Father (may Allah have mercy on him), from which its revenues are for the benefit of the beneficiaries of his will and charitable projects in Kuwait and Arab and Islamic countries. All thanks to all those who criticized and expressed their opinions positively or negatively in all politeness, and may Allah forgive all those who offended us or bullied us and our family. I tell them, "We work without boredom or tirelessness for Allah the Almighty and then for our homeland, and your good words raise yourself, but bad words detract from our worth as much as they detract from yours," so let go of your bullying and pick up your words of criticism to the good. I was encouraged by the rapid formation of the council of ministers, but as it is said, "what a loss of joy," with the apology of MP Ammar Al-Ajmi for participating in the ministry after its formation, which is unprecedented and unipositive. From the notions of the comments, I heard from some MPs when drafting this article, it is clear that the coming days will not be so happy for the Kuwaiti people.
Stay Safe.
